UI Modernization

Consolidated and modernized six user interface applications for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). We employed human centered design principles to support a diverse set of users across the United States supporting Medicare Beneficiaries. The solution also includes integrated case management and Application Programming Interface (API) first architecture for seamless integration with partner systems.

High Performing APIs

Implemented a high performing Application Programming Interface (API) platform on the cloud for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). This platform is designed to support eligibility and other beneficiary information needs of Medicare business partners including other Federal Agencies and Health Insurance companies providing Medicare and Advantage and Prescription Drug plans. This solution is implemented on Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud and designed to support upto 10 Million requests per hour with over 99.9% availability./p>

Legacy Modernization

Modernizing and migrating to the cloud a large enterprise application system for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). We implemented software engineering tools and processes to analyze legacy applications to extract business rules for reengineering and implementation under a modern architecture. The project involves reengineering over 3 Million lines of COBOL code on a IBM z/OS platform to a modern event driven micro-services architecture on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud.

Lakshmi Manambedu is an IT Executive specializing in Software Engineering and Information Technology Solution Architecture. He has a proven track record for leading the successful implementation large and complex information technology solutions supporting Eligibility, Enrollment and Payment systems in the area of Health Care. He is known for his ability to synergize Program Management, Business Processes and Information Technology to successfully implement large and complex Health IT solutions. He is acknowledged as a thought leader and collaborator by customers and their business partners.

As Program Manager and Chief System Architect, Lakshmi has led several successful system implementations for the Centers for Medicare and Medicare Services. Amongst those engagements were the progressive modernization of the Medicare Beneficiary Database Suite of Systems (MBDSS) the Reengineering and Modernization of the Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug System (MARx), Implementation of the eligibility Enrollment Medicare Online (ELMO) User Interface and Application Programming Interface (API) and the Beneficiary Information on the Cloud (BIC) data services and API platform.
